Implementing the TCFD Recommendations
The recommendations by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) are rapidly finding their way into financial regulations across the world, in Europe as well as Asia-Pacific. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) explicitly referenced the TCFD recommendations in its Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management for Banks, Insurers, and Asset Managers, published in December 2020. This means that financial institutions are increasingly going to ask borrowers and portfolio companies to meet these new disclosure requirments. Yet the majority of Singapore based copmanies have not started to adopt the recommendations. This interactive workshop will provide you with the necessary background and practical guidance to build your own roadmap for implementation of the TCFD Recommendations.
